Political Postcards

   

    

Each one of these found images reflect the way i in-vision London. The collection of these reflect the two area of London i live in South East London and East London 

These news headlines from the paper have caught my eye, because i am reading into with some wit and humour. I want to play around with the words to create some typography postcard with phrases that reflect how feel about the culture i am living in.

  

 I took these 8 images from newspapers i read during my travels to uni. These images reflect, visually how i feel about london and where i live. I have put the original images in a scanner and change the colour of cut out images to fit my mood, Red, Grey and Sepia tones reflect how i feel emotional about the climate. Also I will further add text to these images and possibly think about changing the shape of the post cards and using a mixture of different imagery to inter weave and crosshatch with these main 8 postcards.

Is a raw urban photographer from south africa, his work focuses on the sub-saharan africa. His work relates to the way i feel about London and where i live. The grey tones and grittyness reflects the poorer parts of my neighbour hood. I would like to take photography like this and minimise two of my photos that has the most visual information and then collage/ crosshatch them together to show the two areas of london i've lived in South London & East london.
